Anthony Vago

I've spent my career fighting for the people who build things. Thirty years of valuations, IP, licensing and M&A across Australia, Europe and South America, built alongside running businesses of my own. That combination is the foundation of Sherwood: not just knowing how a deal is structured, but knowing what it costs when the advice you are receiving serves the advisor rather than you.

I also completed MIT's programme in the Science and Business of Biotechnology — not because I needed another credential, but because as deal work increasingly touched deep tech, biotech, and AI, I wanted to understand those businesses and their founders at the same level I understand any other.

What drives all of it is the same thing: understanding what someone has spent years building, and making sure that when the moment comes, everything I have goes toward getting them the outcome they deserve.

Sherwood Australia holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL 563351) and is led by an AVI Certified Business Valuer (AVI 20281). Valuations are prepared in accordance with the principles of APES 225 and the International Valuation Standards — accepted by investors, acquirers, the ATO and the courts.
